1. Analyze the process drawings of parts   

Design and draw the three parts view of the hardware workpiece and the workpiece expansion diagram, its role is to use drawings to express the structure of the plate gold parts. Analysis of part drawings can quickly understand the size of the workpiece, base point, line, curve and the position of the cutting surface, determine the origin of the workpiece and calculate each bending point and curve connection point.   

Two, reasonable choice of stamping material   

The material used for stamping should not only meet the technical requirements of design, but also meet the requirements of stamping process and subsequent process requirements. Common metal stamping plates are low titanium alloy, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and its alloys.   

(1) Copper, aluminum and its alloy due to its good ductility and excellent electrical conductivity, so this type of stamping process is often used as equipment components and is widely used.   

(2) carbon steel and stainless steel stamping process is often used to manufacture equipment shell, structural parts, box, etc., but due to its strong stiffness, stamping oil is usually used to improve the process.   

(3) Titanium alloy stamping is mainly used for large equipment, aircraft, ships and other parts requiring small weight and high strength. The process is difficult, so special stamping oil must be used to improve the process when stamping titanium alloy.   

Three, classification of the use of stamping equipment   

According to the nature of the stamping process to be completed and the characteristics of the force and energy of various stamping equipment, considering the deformation force required by stamping and the size of the mold closing height and profile size and other main factors, combined with the existing equipment to reasonably select the type of equipment and tonnage. According to the structure to divide the simple punching punch, continuous punching punch and compound punching punch three.   

(1) simple stamping punch   

A stamping process in which only one process is completed in one stroke of a press. That is, blanking or punching with a simple die.   

(2) continuous punching punch   

Punch in a stroke, in different parts of the die at the same time to complete a number of stamping procedures, each feeding distance by the stopper pin control.   

(3) composite punching press   

To complete several stamping steps simultaneously on the same part of the die in one stroke. The biggest characteristic of compound stamping is that there is a convex and concave die in the mold, compound die is suitable for large batch, high precision stamping parts.   

Four, the selection method of stamping oil   

Stamping oil plays a key role in stamping process, good cooling performance and extreme pressure anti-wear performance for the service life of the die and workpiece accuracy has a qualitative leap. According to the different material of the workpiece, the focus of the performance of stamping oil is not the same when selecting it.   

(1) Silicon steel plate is relatively easy to blanking material, on the premise of preventing the generation of blanking burr, low viscosity stamping oil will be selected.   

(2) carbon steel plate in the selection of stamping oil should first be based on the difficulty of the process and oil method and degreasing conditions to determine the better viscosity.   

(3) galvanized steel plate because of the chemical reaction with chlorine additives, so galvanized steel plate in the selection of stamping oil should pay attention to the chlorine stamping oil may occur white rust, and the use of sulfur stamping oil can avoid the rust problem, but after stamping should be as early as possible.   

(4) Stainless steel plate is easy to produce hardening materials, requiring the use of high oil film strength, good resistance to sintering stretch oil. General use of stamping oil containing sulfur and chlorine compound additives, in order to ensure extreme pressure performance at the same time to avoid burr, fracture and other problems.   

Five, determine the reasonable process type   

The selection of workpiece surface technology method is to choose a reasonable method for every surface with quality requirements on the parts. According to the basic process of stamping the main basic process is divided into blanking, punching, bending and drawing several basic processes. In general, the final process method is selected according to the surface accuracy and roughness requirements, and then the preparation process before seiko is determined.   

(1) blanking and punching   

Blanking and punching is the process of billet separation, blanking and punching process is exactly the same. Blanking and punching are collectively known as blanking, blanking die punch and concave die have a sharp edge, there is a gap between the punch and concave die, in order to ensure that the incision is neat and less burr.   

(2) Bending and stretching   

Bending and stretching are the processes that make the workpiece obtain various cup or box shaped parts. The bending and stretching part of the workpiece should have an appropriate fillet radius to avoid cracking when the workpiece is bending.
