Anodic alumina refers to the surface of aluminum and aluminum alloy is coated with a layer of dense alumina to prevent further oxidation, its chemical properties and alumina the same. However, unlike ordinary oxide film, anodic alumina can be stained by electrolytic staining.  

The production process  

1. Mechanical polishing;  

2. Chemical treatment to remove copper from the surface of some alloys;  

3. Clean the oiling (for anodized parts, if you need to anodize again, is to use alkali or special agent to remove the original anodized surface);  

4. Put it into dilute sulfuric acid as an anode for electrification, and generate the surface oxide layer (porous, white translucent film);

6. Fixation (heat or use chromate solution to seal the pores of the oxide layer on the surface).
